It's a well-known fact that the Trader Joe's Everything but the Bagel seasoning is a crucial pantry essential. With its mouthwatering blend of sea salt, garlic, onion, and sesame seeds, this mix has the potential—nay, the promise—to add just the right amount of flavor to literally any recipe. Avocado toast? Yep. Eggs? Uh huh. Soup? Absolutely. I'd eat this stuff with a spoon if that was socially acceptable.

Now there's another spice blend to steal our hearts. Everything but the Elote seasoning just hit Trader Joe's shelves, and it looks so good it might warrant a last-minute TJ's pit stop on the way home from work.

If you're not already familiar with elote, it's a Mexican street food favorite that features corn on the cob smothered in crema, parm or cotija cheese, chili powder, and lime. This seasoning takes the best of elote and smashes it into a jar—minus the corn, obvs. Trader Joe's lists the ingredients as sea salt, chile pepper, parmesan, chipotle powder, cumin, dried cilantro, and more. There's even some corn flour sprinkled in so you don't what elote is all about.

You can buy your 2.3-ounce ticket to Mexico for $2.49. Find it in the spice aisle—and please refrain from opening the jar on site (no matter how much you'd like to).

If you're apprehensive about where Everything but the Elote will fit in your recipe routine, fear not. TJ's has some suggestions for you—and so do we. Use it to kick up chili (especially if it involves corn), tacos, cheesy pasta, shrimp, nachos, and any leftovers, really. We're particularly excited about incorporating it into our Chicken and Corn ChiliSpicy Shrimp Tacos, and Easy Chicken Flautas—but the possibilities are truly endless.

Once again, Trader Joe's knows exactly how to turn a regular day into a party. You know us too well, Joe—and it may be corny, but we like it elote.
