If you've ever watched Rachael prep a beautiful bowl of carbonara on her show and answered her classic "How good is that?" with "I really wish I knew," you'll soon have the opportunity to find out.
To celebrate the October 15 release of her new cookbook, Rachael Ray 50: Memories and Meals from a Sweet and Savory Life (her first cookbook since 2015, which made Food & Wine's list of the hottest fall cookbooks), Rach is opening a virtual restaurant called Rachael Ray to Go this fall in partnership with Uber Eats!
Starting October 17, you can order some of Rach's favorite dishes from Rachael Ray 50 through the food delivery app and enjoy them from the comfort of your home. There will be 11 dishes to choose from, including buffalo chicken chili with blue cheese ranch, chicken drummettes, jalapeño popper grits and tagliatelle with Bolognese. All orders will include a thank-you note and a sweet, according to Bloomberg.
The "restaurant" will be live through December in 13 cities: New York, Los Angeles, Baltimore, Austin, Dallas, Houston, Minneapolis, Portland, Seattle, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Chattanooga, and Toronto.
Rach told Bloomberg she was excited about the opportunity to introduce her fans to more involved dishes than her popular 30-minute ones. “A sardine sandwich, a four-day porchetta, I could never teach that on my show, or in my magazine,” she told the publication. “A virtual restaurant gives me a more specific relationship to people in my audience. It’s me, joining people for dinner.”
