Tap water? Never heard of her.

It's no secret that this past decade is the one that turned regular water boring. Flavored sparkling water and seltzer launches made non-bubbly beverages look basic, and calorie-free natural flavoring simply sweetened the deal. Everyone and their mother went nuts over these drinks—but you already knew that.

With new and exciting flavor releases still occurring (LaCroix recently announced an Italian-inspired drink), more and more brands are clearly trying to get a piece (er, can?) of the action. That's where Jelly Belly comes in.

One knock on the sparkling water industry is that the flavors aren't strong or innovative enough. A tweet once went viral for poking fun at flavored seltzer, imagining new launches such as "hint of hint of lime" and "single skittle dissolved in water."

Amidst all the varying opinions toward the pungency of sparkling water, Jelly Belly saw a bean-sized gap in the industry. And the company is here to solve that crisis.

The brand is launching a selection of eight funky flavors, all sourced from knockout Jelly Bean candies. The lineup includes French Vanilla, Lemon Lime, Orange Sherbet, Piña Colada, Pink Grapefruit, Tangerine, Very Cherry, and Watermelon. There's definitely more than just a hint of flavor here—these cans sound like they'll pack a punch.

Another sweet reason to drink your candy: Jelly Belly is a family-owned company (going back seven generations!), and the idea for brighter sparkling water came at a Mother's Day get-together. Thus began the Joffer Beverage Company, coined for the family's last name, which will sell the Jelly Belly-inspired waters.

The absolute best part of this new launch? These sparkling waters have all the taste and none of the fat. There are just two ingredients: carbonated water and natural flavors. They score a zero on sugar, calories, and artificial sweeteners, but earn a strong 10 on deliciousness.

You'll soon be able to find the Jelly Belly sparkling water at Hy-Vee stores across the Midwest, as well as on Jelly Belly's website. Cheers to that!
