Sour Melon Ball
Here's a green drink that's deliciously sweet and sour. Tip: Use the fill lines on the blender for the right amount of mix, fruit and ice.
What You'll Need
1/4 cup sugar, 6 oz. melon liqueur, such as Midori, 3 oz. fresh lime juice, 4 cups chopped honeydew, frozen, 3 cups ice
Make the Mix
In a saucepan, heat the sugar and 1/4 cup water over medium, stirring, until the sugar dissolves. Let cool. In a pitcher, stir the sugar syrup, melon liqueur, vodka and lime juice.
Party Time!
Make 2 drinks at a time: Blend 1 cup Sour Melon Ball mix, 2 cups honeydew and 1 1/2 cups ice. Garnish drinks with lime wedges and mint sprigs. Repeat!
Hurricolada
This sipper is pink perfection. Tip: Frozen fruit (store-bought or DIY) makes the best blended drinks -- you don't need to add as much ice, which means more flavor!
What You'll Need
8 oz. pineapple juice, 6 oz. grenadine, 6 oz. white rum, 4 oz. amaretto liqueur, 1/2 cup cream of coconut, such as Coco Lopez, 4 cups ice
Make the Mix
In a pitcher, whisk the pineapple juice, grenadine, rum, gin, amaretto and cream of coconut.
Party Time!
Make 2 drinks at a time: Blend 2 cups Hurricolada mix with 2 cups ice. Garnish drinks with maraschino cherries and orange slices. Repeat!
Mangorita
You've gotta try this mango, margarita combo. Tip: Use flavored salt to rim your Mangorita glass. Here's how: In a food processor, pulse 1/3 cup kosher salt and half a stemmed, seeded jalapeno. Wet the rim of your flass and dip it in a plate of the salt before filling.
What You'll Need
1/2 cup sugar, 1 medium jalapeno, halved lengthwise, 4 oz. tequila blanco, 4 oz. fresh lime juice, 4 cups chopped mango, frozen, 3 cups ice.
Make the Mix
In a saucepan, heat the sugar, 1/2 cup water and half the jalapeno (use the other half for chile salt, below) over medium, stirring, until the sugar dissolves. Off heat, let steep 5 minutes. Strain, discarding the jalapeno; let cool. In a pitcher, stir the jalapeno syrup, tequila, orange liqueur and lime juice.
Party Time!
Make 2 drinks at a time: Blend 1 cup Mangorita mix, 2 cups mango and 1 1/2 cups ice. Serve in glasses rimmed with chile salt. Repeat!
