A Year's Worth of Rach's Burgers!
Every month, Rachael Ray shares a brand-new burger recipe for readers to cook up. Here are her most recent recipes, each so unique, you'll never make the same burger again!
Chicken Monte Cristo Burgers
"This juicy burger combines the flavors of chicken piccata and chicken francese -- two favorites of mine. Savory Parmesan toast takes it over the top!" Rachael says.
Bloody Bull Burgers with Crunchy Ketchup
"The inspiration for this spicy burger comes from the Bloody Bull, a variation on the Bloody Mary that's made with beef stock. In a nod to the drink's garnish, I've stirred some chopped celery into the ketchup for extra crunch!" Rachael says.
Creamed-Spinach Knife & Fork Burgers
"When I was a kid, my mom made up open-face burgers once a week: thick patties on buttered toast with smothered onions and so much jus you had to eat 'em with a knife and fork. This version piles steakhouse faves -- creamed spinach and crispy onions! -- on top of the juicy burgers," Rachael says.
"This morning sammie stacks eggs, bacon, cheese and a sausage patty on an English muffin. What a way to wake up!" Rachael says.
Spicy Cheddar Burgers with Chunky Blue Cheese Aioli
"National Cheeseburger Day lands in the fall, but winter is when a hearty beef-and-bun combo like this -- with two types of cheese! -- can really hit the spot," Rachael says.
Sliced Steak Caesars
"This sandwich is special enough to serve at holiday parties -- even fancy New Year's Eve bashes. It really stacks up!" Rachael says.
Sloppy Lasagna Joes
"I love lasagna, but it can be time-consuming. Here's a fun, sloppy sandwich that's layered with all the same delicious flavors -- and quick and easy to make," Rachael says.
"These sage-scented burgers are topped with crispy prosciutto, and the buns are slathered with a creamy Gorgonzola butter. Need I say more? If you like greens on your burgers, add a bit of wilted fresh spinach to the mix. You'll need a generous handful per burger," Rachael says.
"Who doesn't love a juicy Philly-style cheesesteak? Trust me: You'll want to befriend that sandwich's tasty cousin on a bun, which you can make in all 50 states, indoors or out, any time of year. Extra napkins required!" Rachael says.
Panko-Crusted Fishwiches with Wasabi Tartar Sauce
"Why should ground beef have all the fun on a bun? These Asian-inspired fried fish sandwiches are piled high with crunchy summertime toppings, like sliced cukes, cabbage and radishes -- and are sure to reel in lots of fans at your table!" Rachael says.
Pimento Cheese Patty Melts with Bacon
"If you love sandwiches made with pimento cheese -- that creamy Southern mix of mayo, cheddar and tangy red peppers -- you'll love this griddled version with my juicy Worcestershire-spiked burger and bacon. It's the tastiest mashup yet!" Rachael says.
Tex-Mex Bacon Cheeseburgers with Chipotle Ketchup
"Want a kickin' burger? Try the smoky, spicy one I served this spring at my Feedback party at the 2013 South by Southwest (SXSW) Festival in Austin, Texas. You can also make mini versions and serve them on soft slider buns!" Rachael says.
