Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise    

  • 1/3 cup chopped roasted red peppers    

  • 1 small clove garlic    

  • 8 sesame seed buns, split    

  • 6 oz. thinly sliced capocollo or other Italian deli meat   

  • 6 oz. thinly sliced provolone   

  • 5 oz. thinly sliced salami    

  • 2 cups shaved cabbage    

  • 2 large plum tomatoes, sliced    

  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves    

Preparation

In food processor, pulse mayonnaise, peppers, and garlic until blended; season mayo. Build sandwiches with buns, mayo, and remaining ingredients. On baking sheet, bake at 350° until cheese is melted, about 7 minutes.
