Toasted Five-Spice Mustard

Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons ground pepper
- 2 teaspoons ground anise
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 pinch ground cloves
- 2/3 cup grainy mustard
- 1/3 cup dijon mustard
Preparation
In a small skillet, stir 2 teaspoons ground pepper, 2 teaspoons ground anise, 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, 1 teaspoon ground cumin and a pinch ground cloves over medium-low heat until fragrant, 3 to 5 minutes. Transfer to a bowl and let cool. Stir in 2/3 cup grainy mustard and 1/3 cup Dijon mustard.
