  • Makes 2 cocktailsServings

  • 1/2 ripe peach—pitted, peeled, and roughly chopped—plus 2 wedges for garnish

  • 2 tsp. superfine sugar

  • 20 fresh mint leaves, plus 2 sprigs for garnish

  • 4 oz. vodka

  • Crushed ice

Divide the chopped peach and sugar between 2 julep cups or rocks glasses. Using a muddler or wooden spoon, muddle the chopped peach and sugar until well mashed and blended. Add 10 mint leaves to each cup. Gently muddle with about 8 gentle taps and twists. Add 2 oz. vodka to each cup and pack with crushed ice. Stir until the cups start to frost on the outside. Pack the cups with more crushed ice and form a dome on top. Garnish each with a mint sprig and a peach wedge. Serve with straws.
