  • 6Servings

  • 1 cup hard apple cider
  • 1 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
  •  6 oz. Gruyère, shredded
  • 6 oz. sharp white cheddar, shredded
  • 6 oz. French melting cheese (such as Cantal or Comté), shredded
  • 2 tbsp. cornstarch
  • 3 cups assorted Thanksgiving leftovers (such as roasted vegetables, chopped dinner rolls, and/or cubed cooked turkey), for dipping

In saucepan, bring cider and 1/2 tsp. salt to simmer over medium heat. Reduce heat to low; stir in lemon juice. In bowl, toss cheeses with cornstarch. Add cheeses to cider, 1/2 cup at a time, whisking after each addition until cheeses melt and fondue is smooth. Transfer to fondue pot; keep warm. Serve with leftovers for dipping.
