Spiked Caramel Sippers
Warm up on a cold day with a caramel treat.

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 6 tbsp. heavy cream
- 2 cups whole milk
- 3 tbsp. Frangelico (hazelnut liqueur) or rum
- whipped cream
- chopped toasted hazelnuts
Preparation
In saucepan, cook sugar and 3 tbsp. water over medium, swirling, until golden, 8 minutes. Whisk in cream; set aside 2 tbsp. caramel. Whisk milk and liqueur into saucepan. Simmer over low, whisking until frothy and warmed. Divide among mugs; top with whipped cream, reserved caramel, then nuts.
