Spicy Mango & Jicama Bites

  • 1 jicama, peeled

  • 2 ripe mangoes—peeled, pitted, and cut into 3/4-inch cubes

  • 2 to 3 mini cucumbers (such as Persian), cut into 1/4-inch-thick rounds

  • juice of 1 lime

  • 1/2 tsp. cayenne

  • 1/2 tsp. fine sea salt


Cut jicama into 1/4-inch-thick slices, then cut slices into 1-inch squares. Make stacks of jicama, mango, and cucumber. Secure each stack with toothpick. Squeeze lime juice over stacks. In a small bowl, stir cayenne and sea salt; sprinkle over stacks.
