Smoky Italian Pork Burgers

  • 2/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 clove garlic, grated
  • 1 1/2 lbs. bulk sweet Italian sausage
  • 1/4 cup panko
  • 1 1/2 tsp. smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • 4 burger buns, toasted
  • 1/2 cup sliced jarred Peppadew Piquanté Peppers and arugula, for topping


In small bowl, mix mayo and garlic; season. In large bowl, mix sausage, panko, paprika, onion powder and 2 tbsp. water. Form into 4 thin patties; cook in cast-iron skillet over medium-high until cooked through, about 5 minutes per side. Serve on buns with toppings.
