Smoked Salmon & Everything Bagel Cheese Ball

Ingredients
- 8 oz. cream cheese, at room temperature
- 2 scallions, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp. heavy cream
- 2 tbsp. chopped fresh dill
- 2 tsp. lemon zest, plus 1 tbsp. juice
- 3 oz. smoked salmon, chopped
- 2 tbsp. drained capers
- 1 tbsp. toasted sesame seeds
- 1 tsp. poppy seeds
- 1/2 tsp. dried minced onion
- Cocktail pumpernickel bread, toasted and buttered
Preparation
In bowl, using electric mixer, blend cream cheese, scallions, cream, dill, and lemon zest and juice. Fold in salmon and capers; season. Form into 2 balls; wrap in plastic. Freeze until firm, about 30 minutes. In small bowl, mix seeds and dried onion. Roll cheese balls in seed mixture. Serve with toasts.
