Ingredients

  • 1 cup chopped fire-roasted peppers
  • 1/3 cup toasted almonds, chopped
  • 5 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons sherry vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons tomato paste
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • olive oil
  • 1/2 pound scallions, trimmed

Preparation

In food processor, blend first 7 ingredients; season. On oiled grill, cook scallions over high until charred, 2 minutes per side; season. Serve with sauce.
