Quick Pork Chili Verde

  • 2 cups jarred salsa verde
  • 1 can (15 oz.) hominy, rinsed
  • 1 cup Blistered Onions, thawed and chopped
  • 2 cups Braised Pork, thawed
  • 2 scallions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2/3 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • Lime wedges


In a large saucepan with a lid, bring the salsa, hominy, onions and 2/3 cup water to a simmer over medium-low. Stir in the pork and scallions; cover and simmer until the pork is heated through, about 5 minutes. Serve with the sour cream, cilantro and lime.
