Plantain Chips & Salsa

Ingredients
- Vegetable oil
- 2 large green plantains
- Salt
- Ancho chile powder
Preparation
Pour 2 inches oil into large pot; heat to 375 degrees . Peel plantains and thinly slice on handheld slicer. Fry in batches until golden, about 1 minute per batch. Drain on paper towels; sprinkle with salt and chile powder while hot. Serve with salsa.
