Pierogi en Brodo

Pick up some mini pierogi at the store and make this delicious soup for dinner.

  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 6 cloves garlic, sliced
  • 1 tsp. caraway seeds, crushed
  • 5 cups chicken stock
  • 1 cup chopped canned tomatoes
  • 1 package (about 12 oz.) mini pierogi
  • 3 cups chopped savoy cabbage
  • Torn fresh dill


In saucepan, melt butter over medium. Add garlic and caraway seeds; cook until aromatic, 1 minute. Add stock and tomatoes; bring to a boil. Stir in pierogi and cabbage. Cook for 5 minutes. Top with dill; season.
