Pepper Steak Sammies

  • 12 jarred sweet piquante peppers (such as Peppadew)
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 1/4 pounds top round steak, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 4 hero rolls, toasted
  • 8 slices provolone


In food processor, puree peppers and mayo. In skillet, brown steak in oil over medium-high, 6 minutes; season. Transfer to plate. In skillet, cook veggies 5 minutes. Fill rolls with steak, veggies and cheese; broil to melt. Top with pepper-mayo.
