- 3 cups (12 oz.) fresh cranberries
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup (packed) light brown sugar
- 1/2 lemon, juiced (1 1/2 tbsp.)
In a medium saucepan, bring the cranberries and 1/2 cup water to a boil over high. Reduce to medium-low and simmer, stirring often, until the berries soften and start to split, about 3 minutes. Add sugars and simmer, stirring, until thickened, 5 to 10 minutes. Stir in the juice. Serve cold or at room temperature.
