Meat & Potato Hand Pies

Meat & Potato Hand Pies

  • 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas, thawed
  • 1/2 small potato, grated
  • 1/2 onion, grated
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp. plus 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 puff pastry sheets, each cut into 4 squares
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce


In bowl, mix first 5 ingredients with 2 tbsp. ketchup; season. Place mixture in center of pastry squares; moisten edges with water and fold over to form rectangles. Seal edges and slice four vents in top of each. Bake at 425° until pastry is golden, 18 minutes. Whisk remaining 1/2 cup ketchup with Worcestershire sauce for dip.
