  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup tequila
  • 2 tablespoons lime zest plus 4 tbsp. juice
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 4 cloves garlic, grated
  • 2-4 teaspoons ancho chile powder
  • flaky sea salt
  • 12 lime wedges


In bowl, toss first 7 ingredients; season. Thread chicken onto 12 skewers. Grill over medium-high, turning often, until cooked through, about 10 minutes. Sprinkle with salt; serve with lime wedges.
