Maple Bacon-Glazed Almonds

  • 2 cups whole almonds
  • 2 slices bacon, chopped
  • 2 tbsp. pure maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp. turbinado sugar
  • 1 tsp. flaky sea salt, plus more for garnish
  • 1/4 tsp. cayenne, plus more for garnish


On baking sheet, bake almonds at 350° until toasted, about 5 minutes. In skillet, cook bacon over medium-high, stirring often, until crispy, about 5 minutes. Add nuts and remaining ingredients; toss to coat. Transfer to parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Bake, stirring often, until glazed, about 15 minutes. Sprinkle with more salt and cayenne; let cool.
