Korean Marinade

Ingredients

  • 1 cup lower-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup raw sugar
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons sherry vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, grated
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 3 sliced scallions
  • 1 1 1/2 pound flank steak, at room temperature
  • EVOO

Preparation

In bowl, combine first 8 ingredients. Add steak; let marinate in fridge 30 minutes. Pat dry, brush with EVOO and season with salt and pepper before grilling.
