  • In a small sauce pan, heat the sugar and 1/4 cup water over low, stirring until the sugar dissolves, about 2 minutes. Let the simple syrup cool for about 10 minutes. Fill 2 glasses with ice. Divide the Champagne, pomegranate juice, and lime juice between the glasses. Add 1/4 oz. of the syrup to each glass. (Refrigerate theremaining syrup to use in iced teaor other cocktails.) Add a dash ofrose water to each glass and stirgently. Garnish with rose petals.Serve each drink with a straw.
