Lazy Sunbather Cocktail

Start to Finish: 5 minutes

Makes 1 cocktail


  • 2 oz. light rum
  • 1 oz. fresh lime juice
  • 1 oz. orgeat syrup
  • 1 oz. simple syrup
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  • Ice
  • Splash of grenadine
  • 2 to 3 oz. Champagne
  • Mint sprig, pineapple wedge, and maraschino cherry, for garnish


Add rum, lime juice, orgeat syrup, simple syrup, and bitters to a cocktail shaker. Add ice; shake until chilled. Strain into a glass filled with ice. Top with a splash of grenadine and the Champagne. Garnish with the mint, pineapple, and cherry.
