John's Summer 2020 Cocktail: The Lazy Sunbather

Start to Finish: 5 minutes | Makes 1 cocktail |
Ingredients
- 2 oz. light rum
- 1 oz. fresh lime juice
- 1 oz. orgeat syrup
- 1 oz. simple syrup
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- Ice
- Splash of grenadine
- 2 to 3 oz. Champagne
- Mint sprig, pineapple wedge, and maraschino cherry, for garnish
Preparation
Add rum, lime juice, orgeat syrup, simple syrup, and bitters to a cocktail shaker. Add ice; shake until chilled. Strain into a glass filled with ice. Top with a splash of grenadine and the Champagne. Garnish with the mint, pineapple, and cherry.
