  • In a large saucepan, mix the heavy cream, brown sugar, cocoa powder and a pinch of salt. Bring to a simmer over medium-high, stirring to blend. Stir in the corn syrup. Add the chocolate and stir until melted. When the sauce begins to boil, stir in the butter and espresso powder, then the vanilla extract. Serve over vanilla ice cream.
