Halloumi Fries

Forget traditional French fries. These fries are literally made of cheese!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt

  • 1 tbsp. harissa paste

  • 1 1/2 tsp. honey

  • 9 oz. halloumi cheese, cut into 1/4-inch-thick strips

  • 1 cup canola oil

  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Preparation

In small bowl, stir yogurt, harissa, and honey; season dip. Using paper towels, pat halloumi dry. In large skillet, heat oil over medium. Fry halloumi, turning once, until golden brown, about 2 minutes. Serve with dip and lemon wedges.
