Grilled-Asparagus Salad

Simple ingredients come together on the grill to make this totally stand-out side salad.

  • 3 tbsp. olive oil

  • 1 clove garlic, grated

  • 3/4 lb. medium asparagus, trimmed

  • 1 tsp. lemon zest, plus 1 tsp. juice

  • 2 tbsp. chopped toasted pistachios

  • 1 tbsp. finely grated Parmesan

  • pinch of Aleppo pepper or crushed red pepper


In bowl, mix oil and garlic. Toss asparagus with 2 tbsp. garlic oil; season. Grill over medium-high heat, turning occasionally, until crisp-tender, about 5 minutes. Transfer to platter. Top with remaining ingredients and remaining 1 tbsp. garlic oil.
