Ginger-Sage Apple Spritzer

Start to Finish: 25 minutes (plus cooling)

Servings: 8


  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup chopped peeled fresh ginger
  • 5 fresh sage leaves
  • 1 inch of cinnamon stick
  • 1 bottle (750 milliliters) Prosecco, chilled
  • 8 oz. sparkling apple juice, chilled
  • Apple slices and fresh sage leaves, for garnish


In small pot, bring first 4 ingredients and 1/2 cup water to boil. Off heat, let steep for 20 minutes. Strain syrup; let cool. In 8 glasses, pour 1 tbsp. syrup each. Top with Prosecco and apple juice. Garnish.
