  • In saucepan, boil sugar, ginger and 1/4 cup water, stirring until sugar dissolves, 3 minutes; strain. In shaker, vigorously shake ginger syrup, gin, lemon juice and ice until chilled. Strain into 4 flutes. Top with sparkling wine and lemon twists.
