Ginger-Bourbon Fizz

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon black peppercorns
- 2 slices fresh ginger
- Ice
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 ounces bourbon
- 1/2 cup club soda
Preparation
In pan, simmer sugar with 1/2 cup water, stirring, until sugar dissolves. Off heat, steep peppercorns and ginger until cool; strain. Fill glass with ice; add 1 tbsp. syrup and remaining ingredients. Garnish with ginger and lemon slices.
