Garlicky Sautéed Spinach

  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 large cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 lb. fresh savoy spinach (not baby spinach), large stems trimmed


In a large pot, heat the oil over medium-high. Add the garlic and stir until aromatic, about 30 seconds. Add half the spinach; season with salt and pepper. Toss the spinach just until wilted, about 2 minutes. Add the remaining spinach and toss just until wilted, about 2 minutes more; season.
