  • 2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup chicken broth or water
  • 1/2 cup brewer's yeast
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil


Preheat the oven to 375 degrees . In a large bowl, stir all the ingredients until a dough forms. Turn out onto a lightly floured surface and roll out to 1/4-inch thickness. Using a 2- to 3-inch cookie cutter, cut into shapes (we vote for bones!) and divide between 2 ungreased cookie sheets.

Bake the biscuits until browned and crunchy, about 40 minutes. Let cool. Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
