- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, chopped
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
In a medium bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder, granulated sugar, brown sugar and salt.
In a medium saucepan, bring the cream and butter to a simmer over medium heat. Whisk in the cocoa mixture until smooth. Lower the heat to low and whisk in the chocolate until melted; stir in the vanilla.
