Creamy Rice Pudding

- 3 cups whole milk
- 2 cups leftover rice
- 1/2 cup sugar
- Pinch salt
- 1/2 cup golden raisins
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Dash nutmeg
Preparation
In saucepan, bring milk, rice, sugar and salt to a boil. Lower heat; stir in raisins to distribute evenly, then stir in vanilla and nutmeg. Simmer, stirring occasionally, until thick and creamy, about 30 minutes.
