Crab & Peppadew Pepper Toasts

Ingredients
- 4 oz. cream cheese, at room temperature
- 3/4 cup shredded cheddar
- 4 tbsp. butter, at room temperature
- 1/4 cup chopped jarred Peppadew peppers, drained
- 3 tbsp. chopped shallot
- 2 tbsp. chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
- 1 tsp. lemon zest, plus 2 tsp. juice
- 1 clove garlic, grated
- 6 oz. crabmeat
- 1 baguette, thinly sliced into 24 pieces and lightly toasted
Preparation
In bowl, using electric mixer, blend first 8 ingredients. Fold in crabmeat. Spread crab mixture on baguette slices. On baking sheet, broil until golden, about 5 minutes.
