Start to Finish: 30 minutes

Servings: 6

  • 1 cup jasmine rice

  • 3 cups half-and-half

  • 6 tbsp. sugar

  • 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon, plus more for dusting

  • 1 blood orange—zested, peeled, and cut into segments

  • 1 Meyer lemon or 1 small grapefruit—zested, peeled, and cut into segments

  • 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract

  • Fresh mint leaves, for garnish

In medium saucepan, bring rice and 1 cup water to boil over high. Reduce heat to medium-low; cover. Cook until water is absorbed, about 8 minutes. Add half-and-half, sugar, 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, and citrus zests. Cook over medium-high, stirring often, until rice is tender, 10 minutes. Stir in vanilla. Divide among bowls. Top with citrus segments, mint, and more cinnamon.
