- 2 bosc pears, peeled
- 1 1/2 cups orange juice (5 oranges), plus zest
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 cinnamon stick
- 1 ounce orange flavored liqueur
In saucepan, combine pears, orange juice, sugar and cinnamon stick; cover and cook over low heat until fork-tender, 30 minutes. Remove pears and reduce liquid over medium-high heat until syrupy, about 12 minutes. Remove from heat and add liqueur; drizzle over pears and garnish with zest.
