Churros with Chocolate Sauce

  • 1 cup cream
  • 1/4 cup corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 8 ounces bittersweet chocolate, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 8 oz package frozen churros, cooked according to package directions, or 24 cinnamon doughnut holes


In a medium saucepan, bring the cream, corn syrup and sugar to a boil. Remove from the heat. Add the chocolate and vanilla; let stand 1 minute, then whisk until smooth. Serve with churros or doughnut holes.
