Chile & Cheese Tacos

Ingredients

  • 6 poblano chiles
  • 2/3 cup heavy cream
  • 8 corn tortillas, warmed
  • 1 cup cilantro leaves
  • 3/4 cup crumbled queso fresco or feta
  • 1/4 cup pepitas
  • 1 lime, quartered

Preparation

Broil chiles, turning, until charred, 10 minutes. Place in bowl, cover and let sit 15 minutes. Peel, seed and slice. In skillet, simmer chiles with cream, 5 minutes; season. Divide among tortillas; top with cilantro, cheese and pepitas. Serve with lime quarters.
