- Butter (1/2 stick for every pound of green beans)
- Green beans, trimmed
- Pinch salt and pepper
- Thyme sprig
- Lemon slices
In an ovenproof skillet, melt butter over medium. Add green beans and salt and pepper; toss to coat. Add thyme and lemon slices. Cover and bake at 325 degrees until beans are tender, about 30 minutes. Season.
