Broccoli Sauteed with Garlic & Capers


  • 1 head broccoli, cut into florets
  • 1 tablespoon EVOO
  • Garlic, minced
  • A small handful capers, drained
  • A small handful chopped parsley
  • Salt and pepper


In a skillet, combine broccoli with 1/4 inch water; cook over high until the pan is dry and the broccoli is crisp-tender, 2 to 3 minutes. Add EVOO and cook, stirring, until broccoli is browned in spots, about 3 minutes. Add minced garlic, capers and parsley; toss 1 minute. Season.
