Blueberry & Cinnamon Simple Syrup

Simple syrup is an easy-to-make, easy-dissolving sweetener. But you don’t have to stick with the plain version. Try this quick upgrade to make your syrup sing!

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 6 oz. blueberries, mashed
  • 1 cinnamon stick


Stir 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water over high heat until the sugar dissolves, about 5 minutes. Remove from the heat; add blueberries and cinnamon. Steep 15 minutes; strain into a jar. Keeps in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

Serve It: Stirred into Greek yogurt or spooned over pancakes
