Apple-and-Sausage Fusilli


  • EVOO
  • Sweet Italian sausage
  • Crisp, sweet apples, such as Fuji, chopped
  • Garlic, sliced
  • White wine vinegar
  • Fusilli pasta, cooked
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Chopped fresh basil


In a skillet, heat EVOO over medium-high. Add sausage and cook until browned, about 5 minutes. Add apples and sliced garlic; cook until tender, about 5 minutes. Stir in a splash white wine vinegar and drizzle with EVOO. Toss with cooked pasta; sprinkle with Parmesan and basil.
