Every once in a while a new brand comes along, and I actually get excited about it, either because it looks really good, is super functional, or hits a price point that I know many of you out there can actually afford. Two out of three of these things is actually very good but happy to report that MoDRN, a recently launched home decor brand available exclusively at Walmart, walmart.com, jet.com, and hayneedle.com, checks all three of those boxes. And it’s nice because unlike other largely direct-to-customer brands, which maybe have a handful of showrooms in big cities, you can actually see some pieces in store at a Walmart near you.

Right now, the line has about 650 offerings across a bunch of categories, including furniture, lighting, bedding, kitchen, and outdoor. Items fall into three, on-trend style collections—Retro Glam, Scandinavian Minimal, and Refined Industrial—which you can shop by look. Have to say, with all the gold accents, marble tops, and plush velvets, I think Retro Glam (below) is my favorite. Most of the big pieces you see in these images—and some of the small items even—are from the brand.

Most of the items ship free (anything over $35) by the way. And each season, MoDRN will refresh its offerings to reflect the kind of things you'd be looking for at that time of the year—right now, think springy decorative pillows and light throws. But come summer, it'll be all about outdoor entertaining. And, of course, sub $1,000 sofas and under $500 dining tables are kind of their year-round specialty. You could also refresh your current bar cart situation with new glasses or bar tools for around $20 if you want more of a smaller, quick fix.

The next time you're looking to update anything really, take a look at MoDRN. You can't beat some of the prices for these kinds of home fashion-forward pieces in on-trend colors and finishes.
