In the spirit of World Water Day (March 22), we're taking a look at how we can all help conserve our good friend H2O.

Millions of people on this planet don't have access to clean water. What can you do? Well, for starters, consider donating to or start a fundraiser for the cause—either individually or as a group—to help provide a family with access to water. Your impact can be staggering: just $60 can provide safe water and sanitation to one family

Reassess Your Water Routine

Before we get on our soapbox, there are other (smaller!) things you can do to help our water crisis. Start by being mindful of your use of water in your everyday life—while showering, brushing your teeth, watering the lawn or garden. When you start paying attention, you might be surprised by just how much H2O you're sending down the drain every day.

Support a Brand That Gives Back

Everybody needs a water bottle, right? Well, the world is full of them. But if you haven't found your dream one yet, consider the World Water Day Straw Top from d.stil. The great news is that 100 percent of the profits go directly to, and you won't have to worry about BPA or messy spills with this 16-ounce straw-top model. It's also made of Tritan, which is pretty much indestructible. Oh, and did we mention it's perfectly-sized for a car cup holder, which is clutch for taking your water or morning smoothie on the road? Plus, it's less than $15.
