From star-shaped bread to potatoes "stripes," here are a few ways to make your Fourth of July party a day to remember.

Grand New Flag

Flag plates

Lay out rows of red, white and sparkling wines, making sure the bubbly forms a square in the top left corner to complete the flag shape. Drop blueberries into the flutes for a pop of color. We added blue stars between the cups and fringed drink stirrers for even more pizazz.

Star-Spangled Spread

Bread and meat plate

Use a cookie cutter to make these stars from sandwich bread, then top with spreadable cheese and tomatoes. For the stripes, we used prosciutto and soppressata, but you can try any red sausage or deli meat for this easy dish! For a cheesy delight, slather crackers with Boursin or goat cheese.

Country Strong

Corn and potato flag

Can't forget the corn and potatoes; they're the foundation of America! However, if you don't have potatoes, use cherry tomatoes or radishes. Cut corn on the cob into thirds or halves to fit. Finally, pipe softened butter on a striped blue plate and chill before serving.

Sweet Land of Liberty

S'mores plate

Let your guests get involved with the food with this festive s'mores dessert platter! Wrapped Hershey's kisses make great sparkly stars, and the rest of your s'more ingredients are your stripes!
