Food Fave of the Week: Justin's Mini White Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups
I don't care if you're the biggest white chocolate hater there is, I still want you to try these cups. Personally, I don't love white chocolate, so I understand if you're skeptical—I was, too. But I do love Justin's Peanut Butter, which is why I decided to give Justin's Mini White Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups a try. And wow, am I glad I did.
Justin's Mini White Peanut Butter Cups
So, why, even though I dislike white chocolate, do I like this candy? It's the peanut butter, people! I'm convinced you could drizzle this stuff on Brussels sprouts, and it'd be a yummy treat. The key here is the ratio of white chocolate to PB. Because there's roughly the same amount of each, you get the creaminess of the white chocolate, without the overpowering non-chocolate taste (the peanut butter's salty-sweet flavor balances it out). In each bite you get the white chocolate's melt-in-your mouth texture and the slightly gritty (this isn't peanut butter flavored filling, it's real peanut butter!), mostly smooth PB.
One piece of advice? Do not, under any circumstances, keep these cups in your desk drawer. If you do—and I did—you're bound to eat at least three every time you open the drawer—guilty, as charged. And then you will have a stomachache, which you will promptly forget about the next time you open the drawer.
Other Flavors: Mini Dark Chocolate and Mini Milk Chocolate
