This Week's Food Fave: Barnana Banana Brittle
This snack may not look like it was made from bananas, but open up the bag and take a whiff, and you'll know it's the real deal. The yummy crackers are sweet, but not too sweet, which means they'll disappear quickly (at least in our office), without giving you a sugar high. Even better, everything on the ingredient list is pronounceable and recognizable. Some of the brittle broke apart into little pieces, but hey, it makes a yummy topping for ice cream or yogurt. All around winner!
Here's what our staffers had to say:
"Bananas and peanut butter are a match made in heaven (just ask Elvis) and they’re even better when in a crispy wafer. These snacks are decadent but light and had my tastebuds singing “Cant’ Help Falling in Love." —Tara Cox, managing editor
"One of my favorite go-to snacks in college was a banana dipped (OK, fine, completely covered) in peanut butter. Banana Brittle is basically that snack combined into a sweet, crunchy, addicting cracker! I'll admit, I was a little skeptical at first, but after my first handful, I was hooked. The coconut (another favorite flavor of mine) is yummy, too!" —Kendall Wenaas, editorial assistant
Other Flavors: Dark Chocolate, Toasted Coconut, and Gingersnap
