Food Fave of the Week: Gluten Free Cheddar Bunny Tails
Each month, Rachael Ray Every Day staffers try hundreds (seriously, hundreds) of new food products (it's research, people!) in hopes of determining the best of the bunch for our monthly Checkout column. The problem? We never have enough room in the mag for all the products we love from the taste test. Introducing: Food Fave, a new web column where we'll show a little extra love to our editors' favorite new food and bev picks. Check back every week for your grocery store aisle inspo!
This Week's Food Fave: Gluten Free Cheddar Bunny Tails
Pretty much everyone loves Annie's—whether it's because of the crave-worthy flavor, the company's commitment to organic, socially conscious food, or the cute bunnies. And apparently, there's been quite the community of people waiting for the company to launch a gluten-free version of their iconic cheddar bunnies. This summer, their prayers were answered, with these tail-shaped crackers made with real cheese and no artificial flavors. And trust us, these bunny bums are delish—no matter if you eat gluten or not.
What our staffers had to say:
"When it comes to bread and crackers, I have a tendency to shy away from all things 'gluten-free,' but I've long liked Annie's products—and the lure of a cheddar-y snack was too strong to resist. I'm so glad I gave in, because these crackers are as crunchy as any, and packed with tangy organic cheddar flavor."—Alexa Weibel, senior food editor
"These adorable bunny tails have me hooked. Admittedly, I'm an Annie's fan (the bunnies are just so dang adorable), so the second the box crossed my desk, I got excited. Once I dove in, I was hooked. They're super cheesy, super addictive, and they leave your fingers sticky and orange—like any good cheesy snack should. I totally snagged a box of these bites for my desk drawer for days that I need a 3 p.m. pick-me-up—or in case I try to go gluten-free for a month..."—Kendall Wenaas, editorial assistant
"I'm normally team gluten all the way, but these cute bunny butts surprised me! It'll be great to keep a box around so my friends can snack whenever they pop over — gluten-free or not!" — Grace Rasmus, associate digital editor
